The Fero archipelago is a paradise for nature lovers and photography, the archipelago consists of 18 new islands and volcanic islands lying in the North Atlantic Ocean located 320 KM north northwest of Scotland, about 580 km from Norway and about 430 km from Iceland, the region is one of the three constituent countries that make up the Kingdom of Denmark.

the islands have a total area of about 1400 square KM with a population in June 2022 of around 54,000 people, the geographical location of the Fero islands makes the weather in this region can change in an instant, the sun can shine, but a moment later it blows, strong winds then cloudy then drizzle, even snowfall, the Vero islands are dotted with mountains whose peaks are covered with snow, vast pastures where sheep graze, beautiful waterfalls, and countryside with Colorful people's houses.

The islands are also inhabited by flocks of pavins, pelagic seabirds that have black and white feather patterns that usually nest on cliff tops, one of the most interesting places in the Fero Islands is Gasadalur a village that can be categorized as one of the most remote villages in the world, surrounded by mountains, located right on the edge of a high cliff with a position facing directly towards the Atlantic Ocean, making a small village located in the west of the island fence.

The Danish Fero Islands did not have a connecting route with other villages before 2004, there are only two ways to get to Gasadalur Village other than by helicopter, namely by climbing the mountains surrounding the settlement towering more than 400 meters high, then traveling far enough to the village, another option for those brave enough is to climb the cliff face through any boat that dares to approach the filled water area With steep rocks due to its isolated conditions, the population of Gasadalur has dropped dramatically even though there are a number of very good fields, in 2002 there were only 16 people living in this village, then in 2012 Gasadalur only had 18 populations, and in 2020 that number decreased to 11 populations, but luckily in 2004 a tunnel through the mountain along 4.9 KM was successfully built to make it easier for residents to travel to Other villages.

The village of Gasadalur which seems to be tucked between green fields and towering mountains on all sides has many amazing scenery, there are so many sheep inhabiting this region that the Fero Islands have been widely known as the Island of sheep in the local dialect, but among all the stunning scenery there is one main attraction, namely the spectacular waterfall named mula fossur which flows directly into the Atlantic Ocean.
